NEW GUITAR!!!
Well, I must thank BJ for giving me this idea. He told me once that he bought a guitar at a pawn shop (the 12-string electric if I remember correctly). Well, being without an acoustic for the whole school year was torture, so I decided that I needed to start looking for one. So today I went out to the pawn shop to look for an acoustic. I found this for about $350. After looking up its list price, turns out I payed less than a third of it original cost. I told the guy at the shop that I was really looking for less expensive guitar because I needed to buy a case as well, and then he said that he’d throw in a soft case for free! Needless to say I jumped on it right away. I’m really excited!

It’ still not quite as cool as BJ’s Martin that he got as a hand-me-down from freaking Caedmon’s Call, but still, sweet find, man.

sorry - just got back from vacation, so i’ve been tardy in my congratulations. in a way, every martin is the same - a piece of a long heritage going back for a century and a half. we’re just the same as tony rice, eric clapton, the guy from caedmon’s call. we’re all the same guitar player. and yours was very affordable, too, which is nice.
and the 12-string electric is still going strong, too.
