Im watching the election, and i must say that i am encouraged, but I must say that there is NO WAY that this will end today or tomorrow. Somehow, no matter who wins, a controversy will arise and we wil go round and round with this for a few weeks.

I really don’t want to sound like I’m copying from my friend brenton, because I’m NOT, but he wrote about this too, but this software is so good that it really deserves to be more widely known. Foobar 2000 is one of the best music software’s out there. Not only is it free, it has great quality and a really small footprint. But the main thing that rates WAY high on the cool factor scale is the way that it manages your music. You can divide all of the music on your hard drive into playlists which are accesible by tabs. This is really really awesome. I love tabs. This makes switching from one song or genre to another a snap. It is really fast also. You can have a single song in more than one playlist also. For example, I have my music divided up by genre, but a lot of it overlaps, so I put some in more than one category. I also have a playlist that has every song in it so I can have a mixed bag of music and play at random. What is more about fb2k is that there is a downloadable component that allows you to use any Winamp visulization with fb2k. This is called Baconwrap and can be found here along with instructions on how to install it. (It is not exactly intuitive) There are also skins for fb2k that will make it look less plain, but since I don’t use it I’m not sure where to find it, Hydrogen Audio is a great site where there are really good discussions about fb2k and everything you can think of that has to do with audio. If I was going to look for a skin for fb2k I would look there.
Overall foobar2000 is one of the BEST music players out there and you need to get it. Really I mean it. Now. Stop reading this and start downloading. I did it on dial-up so what’s stopping you. GO!:!:

Yes, I have decided that I am not pleased with either candidatse choices on health care, abortion, gay marriage, and lockboxes, so I am endorsing Nerf Hoffelmeyer for President. Please visit his website to read up on the issues surrounding his campaign, but here are a few highlights.
