Just lately, I bought an awesome new set of Cyber Acoustic speakers on sale from Radio Shack. Since my integrated sound has better than most sound cards. BUT the coolest thing about it is that you can change what each jack does. I have a setup now with my old speakers as rears and my new über speaker (w/ 68 Watt woofer) as the fronts. This in itself was awesome, but not only that, Foobar2000 (I wrote about it here ) has yet again made it better! It has some of the most awesome effect controls EVER. One of which, being a virtual compressor (awesome) and another one that makes a stereo signal optimized for 4-Channel audio. AWESOME. I get the full advantages of the 4.1 channel audio that I paid for.
