November 15th So… what else can I say?

I love AOL. Just this once, I love AOL.

I love AOL for being such a ginormous company.

I love AOL for having such annoying people who beg you not to cancel their services.

I love AOL for being so slow to remove our AOL membership.

Today, the extra-high bandwidth version of the Episode III trailer was released exclusively to AOL members and Star Wars fan club members. And of course, only hours before, my mom had spent half an hour chatting with an oh-so-nice AOL employee begging her not to cancel our AOL subscription.

Just as a note, we have been AOL members for about 6 or 7 years. However, during the summer, we decided to make the change to DSL. My parents weren’t so keen on canceling our AOL subscription just yet, so we’ve kept if for about, oh, I don’t know, 5 MONTHS. We couldn’t even connect to it, as we had to rewire everything for DSL. But, in any case, the AOL employee was trying to guilt my mom into keeping out membership. Thankfully, she didn’t relent and we are finally free from the evil of AOL…

Sorta.

So, to get back to the story, the Star Wars trailer came out today. 22 megs of [half]pure coolness. And thanks to AOLs inability to do anything with any speed whatsoever, I was able to watch this trailer.

I love AOL. Sorta.

Well, in any case, before y’all start telling me how Episode III will be the single worst movie in history, don’t bother. I already know it. ;) There’s just part of me (perfectionist) that must watch every movie of a series, regardless of how bad it is. Oh well. I’ll be in the theaters in May (I think it was May…) 2005.
