So yes, I’m alive too.
Only three more days of school! Whee! I’ve got pretty much all of my classes in hand, which makes a nice way to round out the year. I’ve gotten an A on all my English papers and the final is comprised of turning in final drafts (which my teacher has as much as told me I don’t need any more revising on). I have an A in my physics class (thank god for bell curves!) and with the curve, the final should be easy enough. My engineering class’s final is a research paper which I’ve turned in for reviewing and have been told it’s already good enough for final draft on. I’m sorry if I sound like I’m tooting my own horn here, but I’m kind of proud that I’m ending the year strongly
(I ate a pizza).
So, while I haven’t been lucky enough to get a PS2 and KH2, I did just finish FFVIII. Lordy, that was a LOT of work. I can’t say I enjoyed the storyline nearly so much as FFVII’s and the main character really got on my nerves to begin with, but it was certainly fun playing through. I did it in 30 hours, which is really pretty impressive (for a final fantasy). I unfortunately made the mistake of getting to the final disk too early (around level 40) and not really being prepared to fight the final boss. But since there was no way to go back and level some more, I had quite a bit of fun and frustration planning out the entire fight, strategizing who needs to carry what spell, what GF to use when, when to skip a player, etc. Certainly the most forethought I’ve EVER put into a battle (note: Triple+Curaga or Triple+Full-life is a VERY helpful combination).
So to sum up, I am not more interesting than Allyn.

Yeah, I FINALLY got my licence. So if you’re anywhere within a 500-mile radius of me, you might want to get off the road. Just FYI.

I was going to do another cheese post and say nothing at all again, but surprisingly, I have stuff to say.
Well, for one, I finished a couple of other animes, Full Metal Panic! (as well as Full Metal Panic?: Fumoffu, and Full Metal Panic!: The Second Raid) and Trigun, both of which were excellent animes. Maybe I’ll get around to writing up another incomplete and horribly written review some other time, but I enjoyed both.
But this week has been the absolute most stressful of the entire semester. I am FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY getting my license next Monday (assuming I pass the test), so I’ve been taking a couple lessons with a driving instructor to make sure I actually now how to park and which pedal makes the car go forward. I also had to get some immunizations for college, and the doctor decided to play catch up and smack me with three needles, just for the heck of it. I also had to have my senior pictures taken, and all the fun stuff that goes along with that (haircuts, new clothes, panic, chaos and disorder). Add two English papers due this week and a research paper on an area of Engineering due next week to that, and you’ve got a load of… stuff.
It’s not like I have no time to do any of it, I’ve got plenty of time, it’s just that all of this stuff piling onto my list of “Things to do sometime between now and then” (where “then” is some suitably ambiguous point in the future), and my natural tendency to panic and stress out, and you’ve got my life in a nutshell.
GOMZ, IM SO EMO!!!!!!!!!!

This is an update.
Thank you for reading.

(burdman, this was for you, I hope yer happy!)
So this is the part of the story where I post about all the animes I’ve watched and summarize what I liked, what I didn’t like, what I hated, what I despised, and other fun things. I’ll be going through Gundam SEED Destiny, Noir, and Fruits Basket.

So, yeah, finally gave up on waiting for a job to magically fall into my lap like it seems to with my brother. Went out and applied to a few places and learned a few things. First thing: coffee shops smell like coffee. Second thing: Barnes & Noble has bigger, scarier, and bigger applications than anywhere else. Third thing: I didn’t learn anything else.
So cough up the cash. I mean, what?

If you don’t get this post, it’s not for you.

So I lived through my first week of my second semester of my dual-credit courses of my senior year. I think I’m really going to enjoy my Physics class, seeings as it’s an intro class and the teacher (who is awesomeness, by the way) specifically said she was going to avoid math as much as possible. My english class is meh. The teacher’s okay, but after looking ahead in the class I don’t think I’ll be learning anything new, thanks to Mr. Anderson’s college prep english class. The other class I’m taking is an Intro to Engineering class which should be a snap (internet one-hour class).
So that’s my life this week in one short paragraph.
So I test on a live environment, so what? I upgraded to WP2 a few days ago, but apparently there were some problems with my .htaccess file, the new implementation of referrals and Spam Karma 2. Comments should be working again. You saw nothing.
